Cross-sectional Noise Map

What purpose?

The Cross-sectional Noise Map is a great tool to demonstrate how noise gets shielded by a noise barrier. Simply enter the cutting line (more than 2 coordinates are ok) and save the line in the framework of a Situation or a Geo-File. At calculation time define how high to calculate the noise map and with what grid spacing.

A new feature of the Cross-sectional Noise Map is the ability to produce the noise map in 3D with transparency that allows you to view what is behind the noise map.

Flexible Graphics

Cross-sectional noise maps can be presented as a pure projection or in combination with other noise maps such as the Grid Noise Map as can be seen in the picture on the left.

Cross-sectional Noise Maps have the same capabilities to configure the contour lines as the regular horizontal Grid Noise Map has.

Cross-sectional and Facade Noise Map

On the left 2 Cross-sectional Noise Maps are combined with a Facade Noise Map.
